Rebecca had a quaint little little farm house lacking space needed for an expecting mum. The property had a car port which was not used to its full potential so we decided to use this as well as the existing garage to create a great space as an addition to the house. Our stone masons were able to match the original delph stone to produce an extension to the house which looked like it was always there. Leanne recently had a baby so making more space for a growing family was a priority. The objective was to extend her living room by utilising the garage creating an opening, spanning right across her existing living room. Our structural surveyors did the calculations to enable this to be possible by spanning a 4.5m steel across the opening which almost doubled the space of the room. For Liz Smith in Castleford, we transformed her unused garage into a multi purpose room, for more additional space but mainly for her young daughters ball pit and various toys. We removed the garage door and blocked up using a brick match of the existing property, windows and lead-work always in keeping with those of the existing property to provide a seamless look as if it was always part of the home. Lynda, in Castleford, due to personal and health reasons, wanted to be closer to her family, therefore we transformed her existing garage and bin store into something quite special, the bin store which is adjacent to the garage has now become a en suite bathroom complete with shower, sink and toilet. The main garage itself has now become Lynda’s own ground floor apartment. Simone in castleford needed more space, storage and somewhere to work from home, therefore we turned her unused garage into the perfect multipurpose room, storage areas for all the bits and bats that need a home, a new dining area big enough for the whole family and of course a section of the room designated to work equipped with a desk and computer space. On the exterior we again got a brick match to that of the existing house, installed a window and art stone sill that are both in keeping with the existing property to again provide a seemless look and happy customers. Kelly in meltham, Kelly was looking to turn her unused space into a therapy treatment room, Kelly needed something clinical, welcoming and professional. We transformed the garage into a lovely studio with space for patients to sit, bespoke storage units and plumbed in a sink for her to to use day to day, on the exterior we removed the garage door and installed a new composite door and window so plenty on natural light could enter, with satin glass so everything could remain private. We also used a brick match with that of the existing property to provide a seemless and professional finish to provide a welcoming sight for Kelly’s clients. Mark and Laura a lovely couple from Rochdale, had their detached garage converted by the West Yorkshire Garage Conversions team into a beautiful home office and Bar! With the recent events of Covid 19 and Marks need to permanently work from home, they decided to have their detached garage converted into a home office and as they love to entertain friends and family also, had a dream home bar added for the future to enjoy! Andy and Ian are another lovely couple with a growing family and are looking to create a playroom in their unused garage space for their young son. We created a separate partition away from the main playroom which is a utility area for washing machines dishwashers etc. The main playroom itself features a jungle lighting area which we have installed working closely with the clients also the installation of a large mounted TV and USB ports to really bring the playroom to life. Ste and Rachel have a lovely home and a growing family with two young kids and another one the way, they quickly realised that they were fed up with having nowhere to call their own, whether it was toys in the living room or colouring books in the kitchen they decided that they needed a play room for the kids. Danny and Kirsty are a lovely couple with a young family looking to utilise their garage, Kirsty has recently started a printing business from home and needs somewhere to work from, some of the equipment she uses cannot be used in the house therefore the garage seemed like the right place to set up shop! however Danny a keen motorcycle enthusiast needed somewhere to store his Bike!
